CANTEEN FACILITY

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Morning & Evening tea is served for all the employees irrespective of contract or permanent staff of the company.

TRAINING MODULES

Training on various topics (technical & non – technical) is imparted to all the contract and permanent employees as per the training calendar.

RECREATION FACILITY

ACGL Employees Recreation Club was established in 1989. At present total 400 employees are registered under it where they contribute Rs.20/- per month, as club fee and equal amount is contributed by the company.
The club helps company to organise recreational activities and gives memento for retired employees.

TRANSPORT FACILITY

Transport from seven locations across Goa, is been provided for the company employees.

AWARD DISTRIBUTION

Safety Award – Safety award is given to the workers / associates who has zero accidents in the year.
Employee of the Year Award – A worker or associate who has outstanding performance for the year is felicitated with the award.
Scholarship Award – This award is given to the children of all the permanent employees, across all 3 locations. The student who has secured the highest percentage during their academic year.
Long Service Award – This award is given to the employee who has served 25 years and more service to the ACGL company.

RETIREMENT FUNCTION

The employees who complete 58 years of age is superannuated and during last day of his work, retirement felicitation is been arranged by the HR department.

HEALTH INSURANCE FACILITY

Health Insurance cover for employees is given, in case of sickness, accident, to employee and family member. It is a cashless facility. Coverage is defined in the Health Insurance Policy.

SUGGESTION BOX

Suggestion Box for any improvements are provided at company premises. Employees has the freedom to raise grievances in form of injustice, work issues, corruption, interpersonal issues in written form and putting it in Suggestion box. The confidentiality is strictly maintained and grievances are addressed.

HEALTH CHECKUP

Health checkup is done for all the permanent and contract employees at company. Health camp includes BMI, Blood test, Urine Test, Electrocardiogram, Ophthalmic, General Test, Pulmonary Function Tests, Audiometry & Chest X-ray.

CLINIC & AMBULANCE FACILITY

There is a dispensary in both the factory premises i.e. SMD & BBD Plant for the employees. The employees can avail first aid treatment from the Nurse and also General Practitioner Doctor is available. Referral service to the nearby health facilities is available. Also, Ambulance facility is available for 24 hours for all the permanent and contract employees. Ambulance is also available for the home service of the employees.

RECREATION

Recreational activities for the permanent employees are as follows:

  • Picnic
  • ACGL Day
  • Celebration of Birthday
  • Anniversaries of Jahangir R. D. Tata and Jamshedji N. Tata.
  • Celebration of International Men’s & Women’s Day.
  • Celebration of Dussehra & Pooja ceremony is performed.
  • Annual Sports like Cricket, Futsal, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis & Badminton tournaments are played.

CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY

The Co-operative societies are established to help the ACGL employees financially. Various facilities are provided such as, Cumulative Deposit facility, Recurring Deposit facility, Loan Facilities, Fixed Deposit facility, Insurance facility, VRS / Retirement Benefit Scheme facility, Bonus share from Reserve Fund every after 3 years. Yearly one Annual General Meeting is held and during the AGM gift is distributed to the concerned members. During Diwali festival gifts and in rainy season umbrellas are provided to the employees.

There are two co-operative societies at ACGL, namely:

  • ACGL Sheet Metal Division Employees Co-Operative Credit Society Ltd.
  • ACGL Bus Body Division Employees Co-Operative Credit Society Ltd
