One of the most powerful tools for empowering communities is to make certain that quality education is made available in abundance. Inclusive Education continues to be one of ACGL’s focused CSR areas and many schools in its vicinity have benefitted from the passionate CSR work carried out by the Company.

A Special Initiative by ACGL
One of the most powerful tools for empowering communities is to make certain that quality education is made available in abundance and no child is denied the opportunity and right to education. ACGL strives to bridge the gap between the homes of the special children and their special schools, by providing a school bus to facilitate their transportation.
The Directors of ACGL presenting over 2 School buses to facilitate transportation of the special children at the Lokvishwas Pratisthan, Honda and Canacona, Goa, on the occasion of its 38th Annual General Meeting.
HEALTH & SANITATION
WINS – WashInSchools
Wash In Schools is a program that encompasses providing facilities, training & sustainability in specific areas of child health. The areas covered are water with the provision of safe drinking water, sanitation with the provision of hand wash stations, use of soaps, gender-segregated toilets, Menstrual Hygiene Management & behavioral change of teachers & student.
The WINS program was conducted at three schools, The Government High School, Bhuimpal, Honda Higher Secondary School and Progress High School, Sanquelim.
Chairman, Mr. Dempo along with Mr. OV Ajay, CEO & Executive Director and others at the inauguration ceremony of the WINS Program, wherein toilet facilities, Safe Drinking water, and Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine along with Incinerators were provided at the Government High School, Bhuimpal, Sattari
2016-17
A staff member demonstrating the use of Interactive Boards to ACGL’s Chairman, Mr. Shrinivas Dempo, during the inauguration of the Computer and Science Laboratory at The Government High School, Morlem.
Mr. Yatin Kakodkar, Director, Mr. OV Ajay and others at the inauguration of the Science and Computer laboratory provided to Government High School, Bhuimpal .
The Mobile Library Bus provided by ACGL to the Krishnadas Shyama Goa State Central Library to facilitate abundant availability of myriad books and encourage reading amongst students in different parts of the state. The mobile library bus covers schools and colleges in the most remote areas of the states and makes available a plethora of books for the students.
